Never Tell Me the Odds

So tonight, Rob Baer of Spikey Bits and The Long War podcast raffled an Acastus Knight Porphyrion from Forge World on Rob's twitch live stream. I only had two tickets in for it and against all odds, I somehow came out as the winner. There were 90some people entered with over 200 tickets. I feel bad over it because some people didn't type in the right command to get their tickets entered and missed the final buzzer to do so.

Anyways, a huge shout out to the guys at The Long War and especially Rob for running such an awesome channel over at twitch. Those guys do an amazing job supporting the hobby and community.

Suffering the Ravager Blues

I'm sure there some Dark Eldar players that may disagree with me, but the ravager/raider is now the worst build I've experienced since getting into this hobby fifteen some years ago.

I had so many problems with this thing that I decided to not add any others to my force. On top of that I am now considering having my raider assembled and painted through a commission service.

I got so frustrated that had to set it down, walk away and give up. Any attempt to correct an assembly issue just made things worse.

I'm done and I am not doing another.

Don't have a whole lot left to finish on it but I may not be able to get finished until the weekend.

Reached a point with the bomber where happy with it and can call it done. There is a lot more I could do with it but I need to stop somewhere.
